Description
1. Grow light is widely used in hydroponics, gardening, home balcony sowing, seeding, breeding, farm, flower exhibition, potted plants such as orchid, banana, tobacco, seaweed, bitter gourd, lettuce and other herbs. The distance between lamp and plant is 1m-3meters high and 1-28 square meters space.
2. Grow light accelerates plants' growth, shorten time from seed to fruit, improves commercial crops yield.
Working Theory:
1. Grow light simulates plant's photosynthesis . It plays the role of a special Sun. It selectively supply proper "grow factor".
2. "Grow factor" covers the special wavelength light and pigment. Different pigment absorb different lighting with different wavelength. But the 2 pigments, Cytochrome and cytochrome, play the key role when plants be in photosynthesis. Cytochrome are composed by 2 automakers ----red cytochrome (Pr) and Far-red cytochrome . Red cytochrome absorb red light wavelength around 660nm, and Far-red cytochrome absorb Far-red light wavelength around 730nm .Cytochrome regulate a variety of different plants react to light ,including photo period, seed germination, leaf, hypocaust elongation and DE-etiolated. Cytochrome absorb blue light and UV (Ultra Violet ) range. Other pigments are related to plant growth .
3. After over and over test by scientist, we get known that red and blue light function more than others. The needed wavelength of red is 620nm to 660nm and of blue is 440nm to 460nm.
